Leased Line Too Expensive, Yet the Connection Still Unstable? Let’s Recalculate.

Save Your Internet OPEX with LNS Virtual Leased Line

Many IT managers and business owners agree: choosing a dedicated leased line feels like the safest option because it’s seen as the most stable.
But behind that stability lies a heavy operational cost especially when the bandwidth is still limited.

In Indonesia, most companies pay around Rp 10–15 million per month for only 100–150 Mbps.
And for industries that are becoming increasingly digital, that bandwidth is often no longer enough.

The Real Challenge — Case Study: PT. AI

AI, a car parts manufacturer based in Bekasi, experienced this firsthand.

  1. Provider A:100 Mbps leased line → Rp 14 million/month
  2. Provider B:40 Mbps leased line → Rp 4 million/month

Total cost: Rp 18,000,000 per month for only 140 Mbps.

The two lines were completely separate:

  1. ERP & Procurement System ran only on Provider A
  2. HRM & CRM ran only on Provider B

At first, it seemed fine. But then reality hit:

  1. If Provider A went down, the entire ERP & Procurement system became inaccessible.
  2. The IT team had to manually reroute traffic to Provider B.
The problem? TheIP address changed, the VPN tunnel broke, and it took a long time to rebuild the connection.

Meaning: Even with high monthly costs, downtime problems still existed.

The Solution: LNS Virtual Leased Line

With LNS Virtual Leased Line, we help businesses combine multiple internet connections into one unified IP address.

This gives PT. AI the flexibility to merge various types of internet links seamlessly.

You can combine multiple internet connections for example, Fiber Broadband, Starlink LEO, or LTE for full redundancy, both from underground and from the sky.

Unstable Internet at the Asphalt Mine? Here’s How PT. KPA Solved the Problem of 9 Routers and Data Quotas with LNS

PT. Kartika Prima Abadi in Bau-Bau, Buton, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia

Kartika Prima Abadi (KPA), one of Indonesia’s leading Buton Mastic Asphalt mining and processing companies, faced serious challenges with connectivity.
Located in Buton Regency, Bau-Bau, Southeast Sulawesi, KPA’s operations cover the mining site, asphalt processing plant, warehouse, administrative office, and employee housing.

With more than 300 people living and working across an area of more than half a hectare, the need for a stable and fast internet connection was no longer optional it was essential.

Before LNS: A Complicated Internet Setup

Prior to implementing LNS, the internet situation on-site was extremely complex:

  1. Depended entirely on SIM card data quotas
  2. Employees required up to 500GB of data per month
  3. The IT team had to buy 9 Telkomsel SIM cards to meet the 500GB data demand
  4. Each SIM card was inserted into 9 separate indoor routers
  5. The IT team constantly swapped SIM cards because data consumption was uneven—e.g., the SIM card at the employee housing (mess) would run out faster than those at the office or factory
  6. When the SIM card in the mess ran out, the IT team had to take the SIM from the office and move it to the mess so employees could still enjoy internet access after work hours
In total, PT. Kartika Prima Abadi depended on 9 Telkomsel SIM cards with a total quota of 450GB for all employees

9 Routers, 9 SIM Cards, and One Busy Server Room

This situation overwhelmed the IT team.
Every day, they had to monitor data usage through the Telkomsel app, remove and replace SIM cards manually, and juggle this along with their other responsibilities.

Was there a way for the IT team to stop worrying about data quota management altogether?
Yes and that’s where LNS Virtual Leased Line came in.

LNS Solution with the LNS XG710E

The LNS team implemented a Virtual Leased Line solution. Using the LNS XG710E, they set up:

✅ Two industrial-grade outdoor 4G routers each aimed at a different Telkomsel tower
✅ Frequency locked per tower → ensuring directional signal strength
✅ Two LTE lines combined and optimized via LNS XG710E
✅ Added static public IP to enable a VPN connection to the head office in Jakarta

Set up the LNS solution with 2 industrial outdoor routers

As shown in the installation photos, the two outdoor 4G routers were positioned in different directions, indicating that each was connected to a separate transmission tower.

The result?
A significant improvement in download speed from 12.95 Mbps to 46 Mbps, nearly 4 times faster!

Speed test results after using the LNS solution
Comparison before and after using the LNS solution

Real Benefits for PT. KPA

✅ Much faster and more efficient internet speeds
✅ Seamless operational systems, even in remote areas
✅ Active VPN connection to Jakarta head office
✅ Automatic redundancy continuous uptime with no interruptions

Is Your Site Facing the Same Problem?

Are you still monitoring data quotas one by one?
Still swapping SIM cards when the network slows down?
Still don’t have a reliable VPN?

We at LNS are ready to help just like we helped PT. KPA.
With a simpler, more cost-efficient solution.

Being in a remote location is no longer an excuse for slow connectivity.

Internet Bonding vs Load Balancer: What’s the Difference?

The Difference Between Internet Bonding and Load Balancer

A Load Balancer is NOT The Same as Internet Bonding

Many companies still think a load balancer equals the best multi-ISP solution. But in reality, a load balancer only divides traffic. It doesn’t actually combine internet lines.

And this difference is crucial, especially if your business requires:

  1. IPSec VPN Tunneling
  2. Internet stability for real-time connections
  3. Cost efficiency

Real Case: KTU Logistic – The Inefficiency of Load Balancer

KTU Logistic, a logistics company, initially used a load balancer for two internet lines from two different ISPs.
But they quickly realized the harsh truth:

  1. The first line was unstable
Although it didn’t completely go down, the connection was poor enough to disrupt stability. But since it was still “active,” the load balancer refused to switch to the second line.
  2. IPSec VPN Failed to Stay Connected
Because of changing public IPs and fluctuating internet, the VPN tunnel frequently disconnected. As a result, their CCTV systems across all sites were disrupted. Their online systems often failed to log in.
  3. The second line was wasted
The second line remained idle because the load balancer was “waiting” for the first line to completely fail. Yet both ISPs were fully paid for.

Is There a Solution?

LNS Virtual Leased Line is the answer.

After switching to the LNS Virtual Leased Line solution, KTU Logistic saw a massive improvement:

 Two lines combined, not divided
All bandwidth merged like two rivers flowing into one dam.

The second line works together with the first
No need to wait for a complete outage. Our system ensures data traffic flows through both internet connections simultaneously.

Stable VPN with a static public IP from LNS
The IPSec tunnel now runs smoothly unaffected by changing IPs from Internet Service Providers.

In fact, KTU Logistic is now free from ISP contracts and limitations. They can switch ISPs anytime without reconfiguring their core systems.

The Difference Between Internet Bonding and Load Balancer

Who Should Replace Their Load Balancer?

Not only logistics companies if you need internet that offers:
✅ Stability for real-time connections
✅ IPSec VPN Tunneling
✅ Cost efficiency

We are ready to help.

📞 We help you achieve Zero Internet Downtime.
Banking, manufacturing, mining, plantations let us help you migrate to more reliable Internet Bonding.

When the Internet Goes Down, Mining Stops: Why Starlink Alone Is Not Enough

Starlink and 4G LTE Internet Bonding

In the mining world, every second means life, productivity, and money.
Yet across many mining sites in Indonesia, this is the harsh reality:

  •
  1. Internet suddenly goes down due to weather
  2. Starlink hits its FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit because too many users share the same connection
  3. Technicians can’t send reports to headquarters
  4. CCTV stops working and no one knows an incident has occurred
  •

If you think this is just an “internet speed” problem, think again.
Connection Down = Risk to Lives & Millions Lost

The Rise and Limits of Starlink

Since 2024, many companies and mining operations have started adopting Starlink as their primary internet solution. It’s a revolutionary technology, especially for remote locations.

But here’s the question:
If your entire operation depends on a single satellite link, is that truly enough?

👎 When bad weather hits, Starlink’s signal disappears.
👎 No redundancy when latency spikes.
👎 You lose access to cloud systems, ERP, and other custom tools meant to improve efficiency.
👎 Morale plummets when employees lose access to entertainment and communication with their families after hours.

How much does one hour of downtime cost your mine?

People Are Your Most Valuable Asset

Recruiting skilled workers for remote mining sites is already challenging.
They live far from their families and city comforts, spending months on-site.

After work hours, internet is no longer a luxury it’s a lifeline.
It’s their only connection to home, a source of entertainment, and a link to the outside world.

For younger generations especially Gen Z digital natives connectivity is

basic need. Without it, morale drops, stress rises, and employee retention becomes a serious challenge.

As a mining company that values its people, you want your team to feel comfortable, connected, and productive.

Because a strong mine isn’t just built on heavy machinery it’s built by people who want to stay and grow within it.

The Real Solution: LNS Virtual Leased Line

With LNS Internet Bonding Technology, you can combine Starlink with 4G LTE into a single, reliable, high-performance connection.

Benefits for the Mining Industry:

Up to 300 Mbps aggregate bandwidth
Automatic failover – If Starlink goes down, LTE takes over instantly
Static Public IP – Supports up to 4 internet links with 100% redundancy
VPN Tunnel – Enables real-time reporting to headquarters
Built-in Firewall – Simplifies IT management, no need to maintain multiple devices

You can even bond two Starlink connections for higher bandwidth as more users operate on-site. (We can also enable failover between GEO and LEO satellites, since all share the same static IP.)

This isn’t just an internet solution.
It’s critical communication infrastructure that safeguards your mining operations and your people.

LNS Virtual Leased Line – A More Efficient Internet Solution for Poultry Farms and Agribusinesses

Harga pakan terus naik. Cuaca menjadi lebih ekstrem. Biaya logistik melonjak tajam.

Leong Hup has been an LNS customer for 18 years.

Leong Hup Telah Mengetahui Hal Ini Sejak 2007

  • Mengurangi biaya produksi

Solusi Internet Stabil: LNS Internet Bonding + Virtual Leased Line

The Benefits of Internet Bonding: Ensuring Uninterrupted Access to Critical Business Applications

In today’s digital age, businesses rely heavily on technology to operate efficiently. With critical applications such as SCADA, SAP, ERP, CRM, and HRM, it’s essential to ensure uninterrupted access to these applications, even during internet downtime. A stable and reliable IP address is one of the most critical aspects of any network infrastructure.

Traditionally, dedicated leased lines have been the go-to option for businesses that require a stable and reliable IP address infrastructure. However, the emergence of bonded internet is becoming more popular due to its reliability, redundancy, and flexibility.

Bonded internet is a system where there are 2-3 multiple connections from different ISPs bonded under an assigned static IP address. This system helps ensure minimal disruption to your business processes, as bonded internet typically allows for faster transfers, and internet redundancy, and improves overall internet security.
Helping domestic chicken farms getting strong internet

Let’s take the example of a domestic chicken farm HQ, which has two dedicated leased lines. One leased line (line A) is attached to 5 (five) essential applications, such as: HRM, ERP, SMS gateway, CRM, and SAP. Another leased line (line B) is connected to 3 (three) applications: SCADA, production, and IoT automation.

When line A is down, the 5 critical applications are not functional immediately. The IT manager will need to switch their application IP address to line B (100.1.0.193) for internet access. This switching process is tedious and time-consuming and can cause significant disruptions to business operations.

When line A (82.129.80.111) is down, IT manager will need to switch the application IP address to line B (100.1.0.193) to ensure continuity in operation.

With the implementation of the LNS bonded internet solution, if ISP A experiences an interruption, LNS Next Gen bonded internet will instantly provide backup from both ISP B and ISP C. This will allow all critical applications to continue functioning seamlessly with the same static IP address, without requiring any IP address switching. As a result, the risk of critical application interruption will be significantly reduced, and there will be minimal disruption to your business processes. Additionally, Line A and B can be bonded together with Line C acting as a redundancy using the LNS solution.

With LNS Next-Gen bonded internet, Line A + B + C are bonded together as redundancy.

Moreover, bonded internet can bond with microwaves and 4G LTE, which serve as excellent alternative internet redundancies. After switching to bonded internet, the domestic chicken farm experienced no downtime, and their operations continued without disruptions. They could even add new applications to the network without worrying about network interruptions or disturbances.

  • Another advantage of bonded internet is that it allows for faster data transfer. This is exceedingly beneficial for businesses that rely on applications such as SCADA or IoT automation that require real-time data transfers.
  • On the other hand, bonded internet also provides improved overall internet security. Each connection comes from a different ISP, making it difficult for any potential hackers to penetrate the network.

If you want to learn more about LNS Next Gen bonded internet, contact us today. As an APNIC holder, we can assign you a static IP address for all bonded internet issues, ensuring overall internet security and a stable internet connection. Internet Bonding: How It Benefits Your Business

Internet Bonding to improve connection stability

Do you often experience slow or unstable internet connections?
Is your business disrupted because of unreliable internet?
If yes, then Internet Bonding is the solution you’ve been looking for!

With this technology, you can enjoy faster, more stable, and more secure internet ensuring smooth and uninterrupted business operations.
Let’s explore how bonded internet works and how it can boost your business efficiency.

What is internet bonding?

Internet bonding combines two or more internet connections into a single, faster, and more reliable data stream.
This means faster speeds, fewer downtimes, and a smoother user experience overall.

Imagine you have three water pipes flowing into a single tank. If you only use one pipe, water flows at a limited rate.
But if all three pipes work together, the water flow becomes stronger and more consistent.

That’s the basic idea behind Internet Bonding.

For example:
If you have three internet lines each with 100 Mbps speed, bonding them can give you up to 300 Mbps total speed!

This is achieved using a bonding device that merges bandwidth from multiple connections into one unified stream.

3 separate 100 Mbps connections can join together to a single 300 Mbps network connection.

Why Your Business Needs Internet Bonding?

In today’s digital era, a stable internet connection isn’t just a necessity it’s a business critical requirement.
Here are several reasons why internet bonding is essential for your organization:

  1. Stable Connectivity for Remote Business Operations

Industries such as plantations, agriculture, mining, and manufacturing often operate in remote locations with weak internet access.
Relying on a single internet link poses a high risk of outages.
Internet bonding keeps your business connected with strong, reliable, and redundant connections.

  1. Cost Efficiency and Improved Performance

Satellite internet is available but often expensive with limited bandwidth.
With bonding technology, you can combine multiple affordable internet lines to achieve faster, more stable, and more cost effective connectivity.

  1. Perfect for Bandwidth-Intensive Activities

If your business relies on video conferencing, streaming, IoT, SCADA systems, cloud computing, or large-scale database management, bonding ensures smooth performance.
No buffering, no interruptions just continuous, high-speed access.

  1. Backup and Disaster Recovery

One of the biggest advantages of internet bonding is network redundancy.
If one line fails, another automatically takes over keeping your connection running seamlessly without service interruption.

How Internet Bonding Works?

Internet bonding can combine multiple types of connections, including:

  • Dedicated leased lines / Metro-E
  • Fiber optic internet
  • LTE 4G / 5G connections
  • Wireless leased lines
  • Microwave internet
  • And more

Example:
A poultry farm in a rural area can bond one wireless leased line and one 4G LTE connection using a bonding device.
This provides redundancy and a stable internet link, even if one connection goes down.
They can also combine two LTE connections from different ISPs in one router to boost speed and reliability.

Users still enjoy two internet connections even though 1 of their existing connections is down.

How LNS Internet Bonding Can Help Your Business?

The LNS XG710E device delivers a purpose-built Internet Bonding solution designed to help businesses stay connected faster, safer, and more stable.

LNS combines multiple ISP connections and manages them as a neutral network provider, ensuring the best performance for your operations.
